Although definitions can sometimes imply that there is no room for change or exceptions, they can help people to relate and better identify with one another. This website is an effort to list and define as many gender identities, romantic and sexual orientations as possible.

It is important to realize that some will find that they don't identify with anything listed and that is okay. These definitions should be thought of as being on a scale or spectrum.
